A Sacred Journey to the Island of the Gods: My Shiva Murti Training in Bali

I’ve just returned from the most awe-inspiring, soul-deepening journey of my life—a spiritual retreat in Bali with my Shiva Murti students, immersed in the sacred teachings of our Master Teacher and Founder, Ratu Nabe. I’m still glowing from the energy of this trip, and I can honestly say: Bali changed us.

Known as the Island of the Gods, Bali is a place where the veil between worlds feels thin, where every stone and stream seems alive with spirit. From the moment we arrived, we were wrapped in the warmth of Balinese culture—its devotion, its art, its rhythm, its reverence. The island itself feels like it’s holding you in a constant prayer. And it was the perfect container for our sacred work with Shiva Murti healing.

Training with the Master

Working directly with Ratu Nabe was a gift beyond words. His presence, wisdom, and transmission of energy opened something profound in all of us. We weren’t just learning techniques—we were being transformed. Every ritual, every breath, every movement felt intentional and charged with divine energy. To learn at the feet of the lineage holder in the land where this sacred knowledge was born… there is nothing like it.

A Soul-Family in Practice

One of the most powerful parts of this journey was the community we created. My students showed up with open hearts and a deep yearning to connect—to spirit, to healing, and to each other. We practiced together, cried together, laughed, released, and stepped deeper into our true selves. We didn’t just learn Shiva Murti. We became it.

Each session took us further into alignment with our higher selves. Each initiation and healing session brought new light into our bodies and clarity into our lives. There was a current moving through us—timeless, intelligent, and pure.

Immersed in Balinese Culture

Outside of our spiritual practice, we were wrapped in the beauty of Bali’s culture. We visited temples that seemed to breathe with centuries of devotion. We were blessed in sacred waters, ate meals prepared with love, and joined in ceremonies that reminded us what it means to live in harmony with the divine.

The Balinese way of life is a constant offering—a living prayer. To be steeped in that for days on end was healing in and of itself. Every interaction, every flower offering, every note of gamelan music seemed to whisper, “Remember who you are.”

Why You’ll Want to Come Next Time

If you’ve been craving a spiritual reset, a deeper connection to your purpose, or a profound experience of healing and transformation—this is the retreat you’ve been waiting for. This isn’t just a getaway. It’s a pilgrimage. A return to the sacred within and without.

Shiva Murti isn’t something we do—it’s something we embody. And there is no better place to awaken that within you than in Bali, in the presence of the Master, and in a community of like-minded seekers.

I can’t wait to go back. And next time, I want you to come with me.

With love, light, and deep gratitude,

Jero Neil
